Translation:
Chorus: Victory to you, O Ambe Gauri, O Mother, victory to you, O Shyama Gauri. You are worshipped every day by Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva.
Verse 1: Your forehead gleams with the sign of vermilion, enhanced by camphor’s scent, Your shining eyes are as bright as the moon, radiating light.
Verse 2: Your body glows like gold, draped in red attire, A garland of red flowers around your neck, you are majestically adorned.
Verse 3: Riding on the lion, with sword and skull in hand, Gods, humans, and sages serve you, and you remove their sorrows.
Verse 4: Your earrings and the pearl on your nose shine, Your radiance is like millions of suns and moons.
Verse 5: You slayed the demons Shumbh and Nishumbh, and the buffalo demon Mahishasura, Your fiery eyes filled with rage, always conquering evil.
Verse 6: You killed Chand and Mund, and the seeds of demons’ blood, Slain were Madhu and Kaitabh, you made the gods fearless.
Verse 7: You are Brahmani and Rudrani, and you are the queen of Lotus, The Vedas and scriptures describe you as Shiva’s consort.
Verse 8: Sixty-four Yoginis chant your praises, Bhairon dances in your honor, Drums and damarus (small drums) sound in celebration.
Verse 9: You are the mother of the world, and its sustainer, You remove your devotees’ sufferings, and bring them prosperity and happiness.
Verse 10: With four arms, you look splendid, giving blessings and protection, Your devotees receive their desired fruits, serving both men and women.
Verse 11: On a golden plate, incense and camphor are lit, In the midst of the flame, millions of gems shine bright.
