Translation:
Chorus: Om, victory to you, Lakshmi Mata, victory to the mother of illusion, Servants worship you day and night, Hari (Vishnu) the giver.
Verse 1: You are Uma, Rama, and Brahmani, you are the mother of the world, The sun and the moon meditate on you, as Narad and the sages sing.
Verse 2: In the form of Durga, you grant happiness and wealth, Whoever meditates on you gains prosperity and wealth.
Verse 3: You reside in the netherworld, and you bestow all that is auspicious, Illuminating the effect of deeds, you are the protector of the world’s treasure.
Verse 4: In the homes where you dwell, all virtues are found, Everything becomes possible, and the mind does not fear.
Verse 5: Without you, no sacrifice could be performed, no one would be clothed, The luxury of food and drink, all comes from you.
Verse 6: Your temple is beautiful, arising from the ocean of milk, Without you, none of the fourteen precious jewels can be found.
Verse 7: Whoever sings this aarti to Mahalakshmi, Feels supreme joy, and sins are washed away.
